President’s Message

On behalf of our chapter, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.

The Twin Rivers (OH) Chapter was chartered on February 20, 1988, by 24 determined and committed friends who believed that the city of Columbus, Ohio was large enough to support a second chapter. Our co-organizers were Jeanne L. Bowen and Eleanor DeLoache Brown. Since that time the members of Twin Rivers have worked tirelessly to create programming through the facets of Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services. Our award-winning programs have raised awareness of the evils of human trafficking, increased ACT test scores among local high school juniors and seniors and prepared our youth for Global Leadership, educated school age children on the benefits of healthy eating and movement, fed and supported Haitian families devastated from natural disasters, provided funding for clean water initiatives in Malawi, Africa as well as aid for African families relocating to the Columbus community and introduced and fostered musical appreciation for the stringed instrument.

Our yearly fundraiser, the Annual Holiday Brunch, is in its 37th year and is the kickoff of the holiday season. It is a wonderful time of celebration and connection. Proceeds support The Links Foundation, Incorporated.

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946.
